The United States has awarded a contract worth more than $33.1 billion to a group of companies to perform research and development for the Department of Defense, the Pentagon said.
According to the department, the contractors will be Delta Resources, General Dynamics Information Technology and Modern Technology Solutions of Virginia. As noted, they received a “research and development contract” within the Pentagon’s information and analysis center.
“The contract provides that the Department of Defense Information and Analysis Center, which is part of the Technical Information Center, will support research and development across the Department of Defense.” – says the issued statement.
No details of the direction of the work are indicated, but it is reported that they will be carried out until September 29, 2027.
