In the Absheron District Court, the judicial investigation of the criminal case against Samir Asadov (conditional), accused of intentionally causing minor damage to health with intent to vandalism, concluded.
According to information obtained by Pravda.az, the sentence was read in the trial presided over by Judge Vagif Hasanov.
According to the court verdict, Samir Asadov was sentenced to two years of restriction of freedom (electronic bracelet).
According to the indictment, the incident occurred on April 19, 2023, around 8 o’clock in the Masazir settlement, Absheron region.
Thus, Samir Asadov arrived at the house in said settlement where his mother, the victim Nisa Asadova (conditional), lives. He claimed that the land on which the house is located should belong to him and argued with his late brother’s wife. At that point, his mother scolded Samir and tried to throw him out of the house. Using this as an excuse, the accused grabbed Nisa Asadova by the wrists and deliberately pushed her to the ground. As a result, the woman caused serious minor damage to her health, causing a non-displaced fracture of the 1st lumbar vertebra.
After the incident, Samir Asadov was detained and charged with criminal responsibility.
