The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, will visit a school in Alicante this Monday promote the social alternative of the Popular Party with the presentation of some of its proposals on conciliation to help families, as they have done Europe Press party sources.
The “populars” want to boast in the coming weeks of some social initiatives that they have promoted, such as the implementation in 2025 of a Single baccalaureate assessment test for university access (EBAU) throughout the Spanish territory, to which all LACCs governed by the PP have committed.
They will also appreciate the commitment of the administrations governed by the Popular Party to finance the free nursery schools from 0 to 3 years old, a model that Feijóo already promoted when he was head of the Xunta de Galicia.

In the electoral program that the PP presented for the general elections of July 23, it included a family law and conciliation to “seek flexible weekly schedules and time banks” to “meet work-life balance needs” and “unforeseen needs.”
The PP wants to present to Parliament, in this new period of sessions that has just opened, this law on family and conciliation. Feijóo had already stated at the time that he hoped that, once approved by the Senate and sent to Congress, the government “I don’t see her” because “family, reconciliation and birth are real problems in Spanish society.”

Feijóo’s last visit to the province of Alicante took place in May, as part of the campaign for the European elections. The popular leader went to Elche to listen to representatives from the footwear, toy, tourism, ceramics, textile, water and consumer sectors.
Feijóo, who took a mass bath in the municipal park of Elche under a blazing sun, was accompanied by the president of the PPCV and the Generalitat Valenciana, Carlos Mazón, The mayor of Elche, Pablo Ruz, councilors, deputies and other mayors of the province. But also by more than a hundred entrepreneurs from all the productive sectors of the Valencian Community.
The popular leader then asked the people of Alicante for “the vote of ambition” because, as he diagnosed, “we are behind. Energy transition cannot lead to economic growth or the punishment of workers, development problems or the stifling of breeders and fishermen.”
