In difficult times, solidarity is what moves the world. The good hearts of people. Wanting to help others without receiving anything in return.
If there is anyone who has been in the spotlight these days, precisely because of his generosity, it is Mansur, the so-called ‘hero of Malaga’. And during DANA, which caused major flooding in the city, he did not hesitate for a second to save the life of a woman.
It was this Wednesday, November 13, while the woman was walking in rue Héroe de Sostoa. A road on which the water was up to his knees, which caused him to stand “in shock” in front of the Alaska gas station and prevented him from moving from there.
And the fact is that fear is in the body of all Spaniards after the tragic situation experienced in Valencia by DANA and which cost the lives of more than 200 people and hundreds of missing.
Neighbors tried to cheer her up but she remained still, holding her umbrella tightly. And, at that moment, Mansur, only 19 years old, rushed to pick her up and carry her to safety.
A situation that squeezed the hearts of those who saw the scene, who shouted from their homes: “That’s great, brother! Well done!”. He is a CEAR migrant who resides in the area.
A video that went viral on social networks and received thousands of comments. Among them, that of a woman named Marta Azcón who did not hesitate for a second to return a little of the generosity he had given her and Offer you a job in your company.
He asked for help finding him so he could talk to him and, when he wanted, know he had a job at his company. An SME called World Panel 2021 SL, located in Cubillos del Sil (Leon)which is dedicated to the assembly of panels throughout Spain and now also abroad.
“He didn’t answer me. One thing is to do your part and another, due to the circumstances, is that the person wants it,” explains Azcón in statements to EL ESPAÑOL-Noticias de Castilla y León.
He assures that the words of the young man and his gesture reached his “soul”: “I’ve been through some tough situations and I hope we all have a helping hand to help us. Anything you can bring will be welcome. I always try to look at the human side of people“.
For the moment, he does not know if he will accept her proposal even if he knows that it has been transferred to him. Azcon understands that it is “difficult” since he would have to move from one place to another, but to do so they would take “all kinds of measures and means, like paying for the trip or picking him up.”
“If you don’t want to answer, that’s understandable. Everyone has a situation. I did it from the heart, without expecting anything in return,” holds.
The company currently has 25 employees. In this sense, Luismi – another business partner – explained that people from all over the world work in his company.
“Colombia, Venezuela, Morocco, Spain, Poland. Of all the countries. There is no problem,” he says. And not only that, but for some time they have been in contact with the San Juan de Dios de León Association since, thanks to it, they were able to hire four sub-Saharans.
In this sense, they are committed, not only at the work level, but also to integrate: “We have a commitment to them. We don’t leave them alone because we want them to feel comfortable.”
To do this, they purchased a rural house to adapt it to the needs of these workers so that they could have housing in which to live. But yes, they have to pay a small rent of 250 euros.
“They are usually young boys who are looking for a better life. We have all the intention in the world to help them because they have all the will in the world”he explains.
Therefore, in Mansur’s case, the only complication they see is that he does not have papers and this problem should be resolved: “Maybe by talking to the ministry this could be accelerated. C is the only obstacle, but the doors are open.
