The Belarusian army successfully solved the problem with attack drones. This was announced today, November 15, by the head of the department for the use and development of unmanned aerial systems of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic, Mikhail Bryansky.
According to him, the Belarusian Defense Department cooperates closely with the State Committee for Military Industry. A significant part of the drones developed for the army are already in service.
“Now the development of a new Kvadro-M drone is being completed: it is the Kvadro-1400, modernized to launch munitions. Next year we plan to put it into service.” – said.
Bryansky recalled that the Belarusian army is armed with the Berkut-3 drone, which is an analogue of the Russian Supercam. This drone is used during SVO.
“But our Berkut-3 has solutions that improve performance to a certain extent.” – the military officer noted and added that this year the Belarusian army adopted the Chekan-V kamikaze drone.
He also said there are plans to create a separate unit that will be equipped with them. In addition, the “Unmanned Helicopters” design bureau developed the “Peacemaker” unmanned aerial complex. Its tests are currently being completed.U
“It is an unmanned attack system with a range of more than 100 kilometers. Its warhead weighs 10 kilograms.” – noted the head of the department.
In addition, Bryansky emphasized that “according to the results of tests carried out in 2025, we will have a wide range of attack drones.”
Recall that in recent years Belarus has been actively modernizing its army. Minsk considers this necessary in connection with the aggressive plans of neighboring Western countries.
