McLaren has moved into the lead of the Constructors’ Cup after the Azerbaijan Formula 1 Grand Prix.
Oku.Az reports that this was possible thanks to the team members scoring 38 points at the competition in Baku.
The British driver currently has 476 points. At McLaren, Oscar Piastri won the Grand Prix and Lando Norris finished fourth.
Three-time world champion Max Verstappen, who was in fifth place, managed to score 10 points for Red Bull. His teammate Sergio Perez had an accident with Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) at the end of the race. Red Bull is in second place with 456 points, Ferrari is in third with 425 points.
Verstappen (313 points) leads the drivers’ race. Norris (254 points) is second, Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) (235) is third.
