The accident happened this Sunday shortly before 12:00 p.m.
One man died and another was injured after a collision between two vehicles at kilometer 1 of the CV-102, in the municipality of Vinaròs (Castellón), as reported by the Provincial Firefighters Consortium of Castellón and the Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU) confirmed to Europa Press.
The accident occurred a few minutes before noon on Sunday, and two teams of the province’s firefighters, a command unit and a management unit, were mobilized to the scene.
The CICU moved a SAMU unit and another from the SVB, who transferred the injured man, aged 43, with polycontusions at the General Hospital of Castelló and certified the death of the other man.
Subsequently, after receiving authorization from the Civil Guard, the firefighters released the deceased driver of one of the two vehicles involved.
