How will the common Turkish alphabet be used?

The Turkic peoples already have a common alphabet. Today the Turkish states are united under a single organization. The common Turkish alphabet is also a result of this union.

But how was this alphabet created and how will it be used?

In this regard, Nizami Jafarov, a member of the Commission for the Common World Turkic Alphabet, noted that each letter, each sign was thought out and the possibilities of its development in the Turkic languages were determined:

“A model alphabetical table has been created, so that later, first of all, the peoples of independent Turkic states will use this alphabet in their languages. After this adaptation, spelling rules and terminology can be adapted. Each Turkic nation has its own literary language. It is simply a common alphabet with which we will write.”

The alphabet based on the “Latin” script includes the letters of the alphabet of four independent Turkic states: Azerbaijan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan. At the next stage, the participation of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan is expected. Because the alphabet of these states is in “Cyrillic” script. Other Turkic peoples are also very interested in the common alphabet.

Regarding the teaching of this alphabet in schools, the Ministry of Science and Education said that appropriate measures will be taken once an official solution is found in legislation.
