Yesterday, November 14, a powerful airstrike was carried out in Damascus against targets associated with the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization. According to new data from the Saudi television channel Al-Hadat, two high-ranking commanders and 18 militants of the group were killed as a result of the attack.
The Telegram channel “Alexey Zheleznov” writes about this.
Among the liquidated terrorists is Rasmi Abu Issa, responsible for coordinating the organization’s relations with Arab countries.
Previously, Kursor wrote that a series of airstrikes were carried out in Damascus on November 14 against targets associated with terrorist organizations. According to Syrian sources, the attacks took place in the Al-Mazza area, where buildings used by representatives of the Iranian commando and Hezbollah militants are located.
Among the places attacked were the Yafa Youth Development Center, linked to terrorist activities, and a building in the Qudsay area, which allegedly belonged to the Islamic Jihad.
According to preliminary data, four people were killed and more than seven were injured as a result of the attacks. It was previously reported that the goal of the attack could be the elimination of a key figure, but Israeli sources denied this information, saying that the attacks were aimed at destroying the infrastructure of terrorist groups, including headquarters and logistics facilities.
Simultaneously with the events in Damascus, attacks were also carried out in southern Lebanon, in the Nabatiyeh region.
Cursor previously reported that the IDF responded to new allegations from Human Rights Watch.
The IDF said the HRW report on Gaza contained “blatant distortions” and “factual errors.”
