Shots were fired outside a golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida, that Donald Trump frequents, as the presidential candidate was leaving the club, The New York Post reported, citing law enforcement sources.
“President Trump is safe after shots were fired at his (golf club). EADaily) surroundings. No further details at this time.” Trump’s spokesman said Esteban Cheung Sunday afternoon.
The incident had nothing to do with Trump, sources said. Two people engaged in a shooting near a golf course, they were sorting things out between themselves.
It should be noted that the Secret Service reacted immediately.
This happened almost two months later Thomas Mateo Crooks shot Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13, hitting him in the ear.
