The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, announced yesterday Thursday, through her social networks, the launch of three new initiatives in Valencia: the race “Madrid crosses Valencia”, which will take place on December 1 with up to 5,000 participants and a bullfighting festival, also for the same date, in which great bullfighting figures such as Enrique Ponce, José María Manzanares and Alejandro Talavante participate. In addition, he indicated that the profits from two charity performances at the Teatros del Canal will be used.
“Madrid crosses Valencia”, promoted by the Community of Madrid and organized by the MAPOMA Sports Association, aims to raise funds for those affected by DANA, as well as to “pay tribute to the victims and all the people who mobilized to help rescue and clean-up efforts It will be made up of different distances: ten kilometers for those over 16, five kilometers for all ages, both will start at nine in the morning, and a two-kilometer family walk, also. for all audiences, which will begin at 10:45 a.m., from Paseo de Recoletos.
The delivery of t-shirts and numbers will take place at number 52 Aniceto Marinas Street, on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 November, from ten in the morning to eight in the afternoon. The price of the bib for any distance will be 12.60 euros.
The big bullfighting festival, for its part, will take place at the Vistalegre Palace at five in the afternoon. The poster features great bullfighting figures: Enrique Ponce, Sebastián Castella, José María Manzanares, Alejandro Talavante, Fernando Adrián, Roca Rey and the novillera Olga Casado. Likewise, steers from different farms will fight. The Community of Madrid also announced that the event would be televised openly on Telemadrid.
