The bridge that collapsed in Guba for more than two months has not yet been restored

In Guba, the bridge destroyed by the flood has not been restored for more than two months.

According to Khezerxeber.az, there are 80 residential houses in the Bad village of Guba.

The school is located in the neighbouring village of Majce Khace, and about 200 students attend this village. Two months ago, the flood that reached Cağacukcha destroyed the pedestrian bridge that connected the two villages. Education starts tomorrow, and parents are also worried about this.

Residents said they had repeatedly requested the bridge to carry floodwaters, but to no avail.

Aydın Kazimov, chairman of Bad Municipality, said that the repair of the bridge will begin once the full collection of taxes has been completed.

“There are alternative ways for children to get to school.”
