Anti-traffic measures are in place on 22 streets and avenues in Baku

In connection with the start of the new academic year, employees of the Center for Intelligent Transport Management of the Ministry of Interior (MIA) are taking measures to prevent congestion and traffic jams near educational institutions.

To achieve this, the “green wave” has been applied since morning at the traffic lights on 10 avenues and 16 streets in the capital. Here are these streets and avenues:

1. Press avenue;

2. Khatai Avenue

3. Tbilisi Avenue;

4. Builders Avenue;

5. Azadlig Avenue;

6. Atatürk Avenue;

7. November 8th Avenue;

8. Samad Vurgun Street;

9. Abbasgulu Agha Bakikhanov Street;

10. Suleyman Rahimov Street;

11. Izeddin Hasanoglu Street;

12. Mikayil Mushfig Street;

13. Mohammad Fuzuli Street;

14. Rashid Behbudov Street;

15. Koroglu Rahimov Street;

16. 28th of May Street;

17. Yusif Safarov Street;

18. Hasan Aliyev Street;

19. Dilara Aliyeva Street;

20. Molla Panah Vagif Avenue;

21. Abdulazal Demirchizade Street;

22. Circle “January 20”.

“Measures are currently being taken to prevent traffic jams on roads near educational institutions located on several streets and avenues of the capital. Employees of the Center for Intelligent Transport Management of the Ministry of the Interior are working in an enhanced manner and are in regular contact with the traffic police,” the agency said.
