Apple released “iOS 18.1” with artificial intelligence support

The “Apple Intelligence” division of the “Apple” company released “iOS 18.1” with artificial intelligence support and other improvements.

Oku.Az reports that the portal “9to5Mac” reported on this.

Key innovations include support for Apple Intelligence AI with features such as writing tools, interruption reduction, and editing tools in the Photos app introduced at WWDC. These innovations are available on the “iPhone 15 Pro”, “Pro Max” and the entire “iPhone 16” series.

Text tools now let you edit and optimize text in any app, while the Reduce Interruptions feature helps prioritize notifications so the user pays less attention to the smartphone. The Photos app has added the ability to remove unnecessary objects from photos and improved search capabilities.

The Siri voice assistant can now understand contextual pauses and changes in requests, “priority messages” and “smart replies” have been added to the mail client. Additionally, notification summaries for apps have been increased, as well as Voice Recorder and Notes summaries.

At the same time, Apple has added NFC support for third-party developers in some countries, allowing third-party payments using various apps, adding NFC tags to the smartphone, etc. will allow it.

Other features, such as integration with ChatGPT and an image generator, announced this summer at the WWDC 2024 conference, will be introduced in the iOS 18.2 update.
