Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and director of the Public Union IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Protection) Leyla Aliyeva He visited the pavilion of the “Fight for International Nautical Species” (FINS) initiative within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
Oku.Az informs that the Pavilion is dedicated to the importance of protecting marine life, as well as increasing international efforts in this field.
Leyla Aliyeva participated in the screening of the documentary “Seaspiracy” as part of a series of events held in the FINS pavilion. The film provides information on the impact of the fishing industry on the environment, ecosystems and marine animals, and highlights the opportunities created by sustainable fishing.
At the end of the event, Isabella Cavalletti, head of the “Seaspiracy” project, answered the participants’ questions.
