US President Donald Trump intends to announce during his upcoming visit to Saudi Arabia next week to accept the Arab Gulf of Arab, instead of calling the “Persian Gulf” inside the United States, the Associated Press Associated Press said on Tuesday.
Arab countries, putting forward the geographical name of the water surface located off the southern coast of Iran, while Iran clings to its historical connection with this bay. Two American officials talked about the state that their personality was not disclosed to discuss delicate issues. The White House and the National Security Council did not immediately respond to messages that demanded comment.
The surface of the water located off the southern coast of Iran is known as the “Persian Gulf” on a large scale from the sixteenth century, although the use of the “Arab Gulf” or the “Arab Gulf” is widespread in many countries of the Middle East.
The government of Iran, which previously known as Persia, threatened to chase Google in 2012 from his decision not to name this water surface on its maps. On Google maps inside the United States, this water surface appears under the name “Persian Gulf (Gulf of Arabi)”, while apple cards are called only “Persian Gulf”.
Trump can change the name for official purposes in the United States, but he cannot impose the same name to the rest of the world.
