“We don’t know what Hamas is prepared to do,” said US Ambassador to Israel Jack Lew as he discussed complex negotiations over a possible ceasefire at a security conference.

He noted that the process is moving forward with the mediation of the United States, Egypt, Qatar and Israel itself. According to him, the main goal of the negotiators is to bring the positions of the parties as close as possible to force the Hamas terrorists to make key decisions.
