The Mayor of Valencia, Maria Jose Catala, announced the granting of direct aid of 300 euros for each baby born in the city from 2025. The City Hall governed by the PP in coalition with Vox will also extend free nursery schools until July, which it has already implemented. The Generalitat is launching for this school year, within the framework of the Reconciliation and Maternity Plan, with a global budget of three million euros.
Maria José Catalá detailed its social agenda as part of the Debate on the State of the City of Valencia held this Monday. The 300 euro baby voucher pursues the objective of promote birth and help reconcile families. A measure that is in line with those also outlined this Monday by the national president of the PP, Alberto Nuñez Feijooduring his visit to Alicante.
Valencia City Council will also subsidize pre-school activities, known colloquially as “matineras,” and increase scholarships for the refectory. Catalá also announced that there will be free summer schools for municipal schools.

Catalá also brought forward a new revision and update of the General Urban Planning Plan (PGOU) considering the current “exhausted”.
