The decision, which affects artists Aitana (December 28 and 29), Lola Índigo (March 22, 2025), Dellafuente (November 15) and the K-Pop Music Bank World Tour festival (October 12), comes after complaints and complaints from neighbors due to sound leaks and crowds around the stadium.
The news affects not only the artists but also the more than 250,000 people expected.
Can I request a refund of the ticket?
The money paid for the tickets must be fully refunded by the organizer. The artists concerned must activate a refund channel. If you want to keep the same ticket, as would be the case of Aitana who postponed her concerts to June 27 and 28, 2025, you do not have to do anything, as it is managed automatically. However, each concert could be managed differently, so it is essential to know the official networks and communication channels of each artist.
Likewise, to formalize the request for refund of tickets, it is not necessary to wait for the new dates to be known. This can be done now, by requesting directly from the promoter of each of these concerts.
The Aitana promoter will activate a refund request form on Wednesday, September 18. This route will be open for 14 days and between October 4 and 11, refunds will be made.
Will I lose what I paid in management fees?
The consumer association Facua warns against the return of so-called “management fees”. Expenses that are often “invented by promoters when buying a ticket” and that should also be reimbursed in this case.
These fees added to the purchase of a ticket must also be refunded and, if not, they must be claimed from the promoter.
What happens to other expenses I paid to attend the concert?
Many people who bought tickets for the affected concerts were able to cover additional expenses such as accommodation or transport costs. According to Facua, the consumer has the right to demand compensation for the damage if it is not possible to recover the full amount of money.
Additional expenses are considered to be “essentially the payment of transport tickets and hotel rooms, the money for which they will not recover or will only be able to recover part of,” FACUA said in a statement.
To do this, it is necessary to submit the claim accompanied by supporting documents proving this type of additional expenses for hotels, trains, planes and other additional services at the entrance to the concert.
Which concerts are cancelled and which are postponed?
Although it was initially announced that the Music Bank festival had been canceled, the organization said on September 14 that it was “working to move it forward.”
Dellafuente’s concert will be postponed but the date has been announced. Likewise, Lola Indigo announced that the concert was postponed, but there is no date yet.
Only Aitana has given new dates, which will be June 27 and 28, 2025.
