Russian military personnel from the Western Group continue to conduct active combat operations, destroying enemy personnel and equipment.
This is stated in the latest military report, published on Monday, September 16, by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
It should be noted that our troops improved their tactical position and defeated large units of the 43rd, 44th, and 67th mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the 103rd, 110th, and 117th territorial defense brigades, and the Azov special forces brigade.*.
In addition, eight counterattacks by assault groups of the 14th, 63rd, 116th mechanized assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 1st brigade of the National Guard were repelled.
The battles took place in the areas of the settlements of Staroverovka, Petropavlovka, Kucherovka, Novoosinovo, Kruglyakovka, Vishnevoye in the Kharkov region, Rozovka, Makeevka, Nevskoye in the Luhansk People’s Republic, Torskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as in the Serebryansky forestry.
According to the Ministry of Defence, the enemy in this sector of the front lost up to 600 soldiers, 10 pickup trucks and one Cossack armoured fighting vehicle per day.
During the counter-battery battle, the British-made guns were eliminated: the 155 mm Braveheart self-propelled artillery mount, the 155 mm FH-70 howitzer, and the 105 mm L-119 gun.
In addition, three electronic warfare stations and four field ammunition depots were destroyed.
