Employees of the automobile companies “Volkswagen” and “BMW” in Germany have begun to warn of strikes.

The strikes were reportedly called by the “IG Metall” union and the first wave of protests was launched in Germany’s metal and electrical industry.
“Car manufacturers Volkswagen and BMW are also participating in the strikes,” the article states.
250 employees of the “Volkswagen” plant in Osnabrück are participating in the strike, people are also protesting in front of the BMW plants and other companies. A strike is also expected at the “Audi” plant in Ingolstadt.
Workers demand an increase in salaries and wages for interns.
