Take part in the great quiz “Do you know your “world”? »

because in WorldWe know that our newspaper also belongs to you, and we invite you to explore its history with us during two exceptional evenings.

This is not a big conference full of dates and achievements, but rather a fun walk, in the form of a big questionnaire, through our history, big and small, during which journalists will share with you some significant experiences.

And as in any self-respecting contest, the evening will be marked by a group of three musicians who will play live. You will be invited to compete, in a friendly way, with personalities who also have a unique link with the newspaper.

“Making” information and “first times”

By definition, we cannot “reveal” the questions that will be asked here, but they will be an opportunity to review the foundations that have informed our work for eighty years, to return to research or reports that, for various reasons, left their mark on us, to admit some lapses in lucidity (we said “some”; let’s not get angry) and, in doing so, to discuss with you the “creation” of information in our house. We will do so around questions that refer to our “first times” or that will invite you to guess “who is hiding behind” this article excerpt…

With the participation, on Friday, of Gilles van Kote, Pascale Robert-Diard, Gilles Paris, Julia Pascual, Michel Guérrin AND Sylvie Kauffman and, on the side of public figures, Najat Vallaud-Belkacemformer minister and president of France Terre d’Asile, Isabelle Autissiersailor and president of WWF France (World Wildlife Fund), Claude Askolovitchjournalist from France Inter and Jean Massietpolitical disseminator and streamer on the Twitch platform.

The match will be played on Saturday. Robert Solé, Benoit Hopquin, Clara Georges, Michel Guérrin AND Raphaëlle Bacqué and, for outside personalities, Cecile Duflotformer minister and director general of Oxfam France; Dominique Médasociologist and columnist for World AND Federico Worsphilosopher and director of the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris.

Jerome Fenoglio, Director of Le Monde, will play the role of referee and great witness during these two evenings organized by Syrian Mejias AND Emmanuel DavidenkoffDesigned with Gregory Beseau AND Muriel Godeau (and the documentation service) and set to music by Jerome Castel.
