The president of the Generalitat Valenciana, Carlos Mazonconfirmed early Wednesday that “dead bodies” had been found in the areas most affected by DANA: the regions of Utiel-Requena, La Ribera and L’Horta de Valencia.
Mazon, during an appearance at Emergency Coordination Center, in Eliana (Valencia), He explained that emergency services arrived at these points on Tuesday evening and found bodies.
“Out of respect for the families, we will not provide further information. because they have to know it properly and there are victims who still do not have this information,” he stressed.
“We started providing relief and we started reaching places where we had not been able to reach,” the president added.
“Yes, we can confirm that there are dead bodies and unfortunately they continue to appear,” he lamented.
