Anderrahmane Aferdi and María Mercedes Pila fulfilled the expectations and won the 45th edition of the Popular Race of San Pablo de los Montes on Saturday afternoon, a demanding race of 5,800 meters. The men’s podium was completed by Lehsen Sidahamed and Iván Alvarado, while the women’s podium was completed by Mariola Hernández and Sofía Gregorio.
Regarding the XII San Miguel Night Race in La Puebla de Montalbán, David Magán and Cristina Perea were the winners. Asier Méndez, Mircea Marian Sacara, Ana María del Cerro and Ángela Araujo also entered the box. In the 4 kilometer event, Javier Rodríguez and Aitana Martín won.
Also on Saturday, the V League of Almodóvar del Campo took place with victories for Rubén Álvaro and Cristina Ortega. They were accompanied on the podium by Sergio Donoso, Javier Andrade, Isabel Morales and Fátima de la Llave.
Regarding the Cuenca 2024 Provincial Deputy Circuit, the event took place on the occasion of the III Popular Race “Tu Pueblo Amigo” in El Peral. The winners were Andrés Felipe Sarta and María José Engra. They were assisted in the goal by Antonio Cerezo and Julián Virgil – in the men’s category – Ascensión Leal and Rocío Navarro, in the women’s category.
Already in the tests held this Sunday, Rubén Monreal and María Mercedes Pila won the 47th Popular Heritage Race. Juan Daniel Sánchez, Javier Chozas, Esther Jiménez de los Galanes and Gema Fernández completed the podium.
For their part, in the VIII Popular Race of Villa de Saceruela, Imanol Cruz and Maribel García won. Pablo Sosa, Javier Sánchez, Dafne Espadas and Josefa Luengo also climbed into the box.
Regarding the IX Trail of Santa Cruz de Moya, the winners were Antonio Dávila and María Jesús Algarra. They were accompanied on the podium by Antonio Cerezo, David Cano, Beatriz Chacón and Gema Sanabria. Finally, in the X Ascent to the Mill in Sales with Peña Aguilera, Álvaro Sánchez and Ana Belén Muñoz won.
On the other hand, last Thursday, two events with a strong athletic flavor took place: Bargas and Piedrabuena. In the XLV Cross Popular of the city of Bargueño, the victories went to Diego López de Talavera and Ana Hernández of Toledo. The men’s podium was completed by Alejandro Gutiérrez and David Yubero, while the women’s podium was completed by María del Carmen Risueño and Inmaculada Yustres. 283 athletes completed the test. Regarding the XVI Pisto Race, in Piedrabuena, the winners were Enrique Herrero and María Jesús Díaz. David Casilda, Jorge Fernández, Mari Carmen Delgado and Carmen Laguna also reached the podium.
