Ukraine’s public debt has reached more than 155 billion dollars. This was announced by the country’s Ministry of Finance on Tuesday, October 29. According to the publication Ukraine News, in September the country’s total public debt increased by 0.56%.
At the end of September the debt amounted to 6,404 billion hryvnias (about 155.56 billion dollars).
At the end of September it became known that Ukraine’s national debt could exceed 100% of GDP in 2025. It is clarified that the budget deficit is defined at 19.4% of GDP, a figure lower than the expected level in 2024 (21.5 % of GDP) and at the real level in 2023 (20.4% of GDP).
