In the case of a cold winter (down to -18 – -25 degrees Celsius), rolling blackouts can last 4 to 6 hours. But if retaliatory attacks continue in the cold, Plachkov expects power outages to be so long that they could last up to five days.
“Ukrenergo” will do everything possible to avoid a complete blackout and will turn off everything and everyone during this time, Ivan Plachkov said.
