The complete exhumation of the grave group with babies and young children began in Tom Gorei in Ireland.
Exhumations are held in a former institution of mothers -a single one who operated from 1925 to 1961.
It turned out eleven years ago, when amateur historian Katherine Corls showed that the death of 796 children, but there were no burial records.
In 2017, the authorities determined the “significant number of human relics” in underground chambers in an inactive sewer system.
The fund, known as the mother and child of St. Mary, belonged to the County Council and acted under the command of the Catholic monast brotherhood of Bon Secours.
Excavations, which are described as “unique and extremely complex”, is carried out by the Tuami unit, headed by osaite under the leadership of Daniel Maksini.
The project includes experts from Ireland, as well as from Colombia, Spain, Great Britain, Canada, Australia and the United States.
Scientists note that the relics are mixed, which makes the identification of extremely complex.
Excavations are expected to extend until 2027, and the results of the results will last at least three years.
Already 80 people have given DNA samples, hoping that their relatives will be recognized.
