Halal Business Forum to be held for the first time in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijan Halal Business Forum (“Azhab Forum”) will be held for the first time in Baku on 8-9 October.

This was stated by Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium-sized Business Development Agency of the Ministry of Economy, at the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Business Forum in Baku.

He invited Pakistani companies to participate in this Forum, which consists of a conference and an exhibition.

It should be noted that the “Azhab Forum” is considered a unique event that provides a multi-sector network to explore new business opportunities in the field of global halal trade. Within the framework of the two-day event, a specialized exhibition of halal products and services will be held, as well as discussions and sessions with the participation of international experts and analysts specializing in halal finance, tourism, pharmaceutical, textile, food and other industries.

The forum will feature discussions from influential industry experts and analysts from Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Russia and Uzbekistan in the field of halal standards.

Discussion topics of the forum include the possibilities of Azerbaijan becoming a halal services center, the creation of a Regional Halal Trade Center, free trade zones for the production of halal products, the future of halal markets and the halal market in the CIS countries, certification and standards, halal banking and halal insurance.

“Food and Beverage”, “Halal Certification and Halal Standards”, “Finance and Banking”, “Tourism and Hospitality”, “Cosmetics and Personal Care”, “Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare”, “Technology and Innovation”, “Logistics and Transport”, “Fashion and Textiles”, “Education and Training”, “Media and Marketing”, “Retail and Franchising”, “SMEs and Entrepreneurship”, “Government and Regulatory Authorities”, “Environment and Sustainability”, will also include sections such as “Chambers of Commerce and Trade Associations”.
