A two-year-old baby was found dead in a field by his family in Konya, Türkiye.

A family of seasonal workers working in an onion field in the Karapınar neighbourhood of Konya’s Kulu district saw their two-year-old baby, Yusuf C, lying motionless in a tent. The baby, who was taken to hospital by his family, was found dead.
As there are suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, an investigation has been launched.
It should be noted that the investigation is continuing in the case of eight-year-old Narin Gura, who disappeared on August 21 in Turkey’s Diyarbakır province and whose body was found in a sack in a stream bed near the village 19 days later.
The investigation into the beating and sexual abuse of a two-year-old girl by the 13- and 14-year-old sons of her neighbours in the Malkara district of the Turkish province of Tekirdag is also continuing.
