Citizens of Greece of all ages who have made at least one trip in 2024 (internal and external) made up to 5.1 million people and made 8.6 million trips, while 4% increased among both people and travel compared to 2023.
The total number of nights amounted to 81.3 million and expenses up to 3704.2 million euros, which is 4.6% and 7.5% compared to 2023 indicators, respectively.
In addition, according to the results of a high -quality examination of high -quality Elstat, people aged 15 years and older, who made at least one trip in 2024, amounted to 4.2 million, which increased by 3.6%, while 7.2 million trips were made, with an increase of 4.5%.
The total number of stay during the night in these people amounted to 69.2 million and expenses up to 3432.4 million euros, which is 5% and 7.8%, respectively, compared to 2023.
Of these trips for people aged 15 years and older than 96.4%, trips for personal reasons (rest, rest, vacation, visiting relatives and friends, other personal reasons) and 3.6% in trips for business reasons.
Increase travelers, expenses and overnight

52.4% of personal trips were made in non -parked housing, of which 53.9% were carried out in residence provided free of charge by relatives and friends. Traveling on reckless relevant accounts is 73.7% of the total number of stay during the night. Traveling to private houses in private increased by 8.2%, and increased by 16.8%per night.
