Sánchez will meet Pradales, Juanma Moreno and Alfonso Rueda this Friday in Moncloa

Pedro Sanchez has already scheduled the start of its round of contacts with the regional presidents, which will begin this Friday, September 20. The first regional leader to enter the Moncloa Palace will be the lehendakari, Imanol Pradaleswho will meet the President of the Government at 10:00 a.m.

This first meeting will be followed by two other visits from “popular” presidents, such as the president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno Bonilla (12:30 p.m.), and the president of the Xunta de Galicia, Alphonse Rueda (4:00 p.m.) According to information from Moncloa, in the coming days we will know new names and dates in which Sánchez will meet with the regional presidents.

This series of contacts is marked by the agreement between PSC and ERC to enter the single financing for Catalonia, which has sparked criticism from the rest of the autonomies, including Castile-La Mancha, governed by the Socialist Party. Emiliano Garcia-PageHowever, the Executive defends that the objective of this series of meetings is to “strengthen and strengthen collaboration between the State and the autonomous governments”, as well as “improve dialogue and promote institutional understanding between the different administrations.”

There are still significant doubts about the presence of certain profiles, such as the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Diaz Ayusowho called on his “popular” colleagues to reject Sánchez’s invitation. He will try to bribe us“, he denounced. The reality is that, for the moment, two of these colleagues have already said “yes” to a meeting with the President of the Government.

The second regional president to meet Pedro Sánchez should be Salvador Illa, that he will have to wait his turn to see his great supporter head towards the presidency of the Government of the Generalitat. These meetings will also discuss the migratory pressure that the Canary Islands and Ceuta have suffered throughout the summer.
