The vice-secretary of the Autonomous Coordination of the PP, Elías Bendodo, demanded this Saturday from the president Pedro Sanchez give immediate explanations, after learning that his wife, Begoña Gomezsent “emails on government letterhead to businesses to raise funds” for their “private businesses.”
Bendodo thus alluded to the information published this Thursday by EL ESPAÑOL, according to which a Moncloa advisor, Cristina Álvarez, would have sent a message to the Reale Seguros company to ask it to continue financing the chair of competitive social transformation (TSC) as Begoña Gómez co-director of the Complutense University.
“The President’s Wife He used the Moncloa as an engine room for his personal business“, denounced Bendodo this Saturday during a press conference, “he used the resources and personnel of Moncloa, which we all paid, for his private affairs”.
For all this, he stressed, Pedro Sánchez “must clarify if he knew that his wife was doing business from the Moncloa Palace, using the staff and resources of Moncloa, with the logo of the Government” .
On the occasion of the first anniversary of the inauguration of Pedro Sánchez, after losing the general elections of 23-J, Bendodo emphasized that “corruption, blackmail and crazy tax increases” are the tone of this first year of legislature.
“Sánchez is disqualified from continuing to govern because of corruption. Never has a president had so many cases around him and so serious,” said the popular leader.
In this regard, he referred to the “case of the PSOE”, he said in reference to the so-called Koldo affairwhich “affects 11 government ministries, with a former minister and former number 2 of the PSOE, José Luis Ábalos, being investigated by the Supreme Court”.
The main instigator of this plot, Víctor de Aldama, is currently in prison for his involvement in a fraud of 178 million euros in VAT inside hydrocarbons affair.
Added to all this, recalled Bendodo, the Begoña Gómez case (investigated for influence peddling, corporate corruption, intrusion and embezzlement) and that of brother of Pedro Sánchezindicted in an Extremadura court for five other alleged crimes.
Businessman Víctor de Aldama, now in prison, is also the common denominator of several of these corrupt plots.
For this reason, Elías Bendodo considered that Pedro Sánchez should clarify if he and his wife met Aldama in La Moncloa, and if the businessman was at the socialist headquarters of Ferraz on the evening of the elections of 10-N 2019. ” If this is the case, it seems that Aldama had a VIP pass to access the PSOE headquarters and the Ministry of Transporthe commented.
The Deputy Secretary for Regional Coordination of the PP also requested explanations from the President of the Government on the information that indicates that Begoña Gómez “I wanted to start a business with Aldama, the Telepharmacy App company“.
