In the last 24 hours, the Russian army has expelled the Armed Forces of Ukraine from two settlements in the DPR: the village of Leninskoye and the village of Makarovka.
“As a result of a successful offensive, units of the “Center” troop group liberated the village of Leninskoye from the Donetsk People’s Republic,” – reports the Ministry of Defense.
The department added that the successful offensive of the “Vostok” troop group made it possible to liberate the village of Makarovka, also in the DPR.
In the settlements neighboring Makarovka, the Russian army destroyed the enemy’s manpower and equipment.
“The troops and equipment of the 113th, 117th and 129th defense brigades were defeated in the areas of the settlements of Razliv, Velikaya Novoselka of the Donetsk People’s Republic and Novodarovka of the Zaporozhye region.” – reported the Ministry of Defense.
They added that they repelled a counterattack by the assault group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: “The enemy’s losses amounted to 140 servicemen, two tanks, two armored fighting vehicles, six cars and two Akatsiya 152 mm self-propelled artillery units.”
