“Based on the results of the II high-level meeting of culture ministers on culture-based climate action held on November 15 in the framework of COP29, the decision was made to establish the “Culture for Climate Change” initiative.

He said that in accordance with the conclusions of the 2nd high-level meeting of culture ministers on culture-based climate action held on November 15 within the framework of COP29, two decisions were made:
“One of them is the launch of the “Group of Friends” initiative and the other is the creation of the “Culture for Climate Change” platform. There was no legal activity of the “Group of Friends” at the previous COP. It is already known has approved the legal framework for the extensive activity of this initiative group. Prestigious international organizations also expressed their support for the “Dostar Group”.
