In Sochi, the feasibility of spending on a concert is being discussed – EADaily – News from the world of entertainment. News from the world of entertainment 09/17/2024. News from the world of entertainment in Russia today. News from the world of entertainment September 17, 2024

Lolita Milyavskaya is scheduled to perform in Sochi on September 26. According to documents published on the State Procurement portal, the singer’s performance will cost the city budget 9.4 million rubles.

One of the users of the Sochi-Online Telegram channel invited the city’s residents to say whether they agreed with such spending on their concert at the expense of the city budget “after a naked party during the SVO period.”

“It seems that the MUP first pays Lolita’s fee and at the same time sells the tickets for the concert, thus returning the investment. Perhaps this is a work pattern and there is nothing special about it.” — suggest the authors of the Telegram channel.

In the comments, several users suggested not cancelling the concert, but that half or 70% of the income from ticket sales should be allocated to the needs of the SVO. Other residents of the city remind the administration of unresolved problems: school expansion, bus stops, transport problems. Some Sochi residents claim that “they will not go to this concert for free.”

Tickets for Lolita’s concert are now sold at prices ranging from 3 to 5 thousand rubles.

As reported EADailyThe previously planned performance of SHAMAN in Orenburg was criticized by the head of the State Duma Committee on Family Protection Nina Ostanina (PCFR). She noted that as a deputy of the region, she receives messages from residents who are unhappy with the actions of local authorities, which allocated 16 million rubles for the artist’s fees. Ostanina asked the singer to send the money to the residents of the Orenburg region affected by the flood. Despite the outrage spread on social networks, about 50 thousand people attended SHAMAN’s concert in Orenburg on August 30.

At the same time, in Stavropol, local authorities launched a survey on the celebration of the Regional Day and City Day, the majority of voters chose this option: “This is not the time for big holidays, entertainment events should be cancelled, programs should be reduced” – 81% of votes.

The remaining 19% of respondents believe that “all activities should be carried out in their entirety.”

As a result, the authorities cut back on the holiday program, cancelling, among other things, the SHAMAN concert.
