Ciudad Real became this Saturday the capital of the missionary spirit with the celebration of the fourteenth edition of the Meeting of Missionary Childhood, which brings together the parish communities of the entire province, with more than 1,100 children, accompanied by volunteers, parents and catechists.
The mayor of Ciudad Real, Francisco Canizares, The reception took place at 11:00 a.m. in the Plaza Mayor, where between songs, prayers and a very good atmospherewere distributed into groups in the different centers and pavilions of the city, indicated the Town Hall in a press release.
“On behalf of the City Hall of Ciudad Real, we are delighted that they are celebrating this edition of the meeting of missionary childhood here, as was done 15 years ago,” explained the Councilor for Youth, Childhood and Sports, Pau Beltrán, whose advice was in charge of organize the arrangement for the meeting, with activities in the pavilionthe Park, the Railway College, San José Obrero and the Antiguo Casino, which, together with the Quijote Arena, will bring together the entire program of activities.

After the various prayer workshops, gymkhana, testimonies, a choreography of a missionary and the decalogue of the missionary child, the participants will eat a sandwich at the Quijote Arena, with a conversation after dinner and the Eucharist to close this XIVth Meeting of Missionary Childhood, under the motto “I share what I have”.
