There are currently no plans for mass vaccination against coronavirus in Russia, but if necessary, the attending physician can prescribe this procedure, Rospotrebnadzor head Anna Popova told RIA Novosti.
“We are not planning mass vaccinations against coronavirus today, although, if necessary, attending physicians will of course prescribe them,” – Popova said.
He noted that the current emphasis is on mass vaccination against influenza, as its severity does not change from year to year and complications can be very serious.
