A Robinson R66 helicopter with three people on board crashed in the Zeya region of the Amur region, a search is underway, the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
“In the last 24 hours, 1 emergency situation was recorded in connection with a helicopter accident in the territory of the Zeya municipal district: on September 16, the emergency beacon of the Robinson R66 helicopter No. 07424 was triggered. The ship was performing an unregistered flight. On the flight through the territory of the Zeya municipal district, 3 people were on board,” – says the message.
According to the chief engineer of the gold mining company “HERGU”, the search is being carried out by two ground groups of the company, consisting of 8 people and 2 teams.
At 8:00 (02:00 Moscow time) on September 17, the search did not yield any positive results, it continues. In the morning, a PVS Mi-8 aircraft arrived at the scene from Blagoveshchensk (Ignatyevo) airport with three rescuers from the Far Eastern Emergency Centre (FKU), the emergency service said.
