The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Amur Region reported earlier that a Robinson R66 helicopter with three people on board crashed in the Zeya district of the Amur Region while performing an unregistered flight; According to the chief engineer of the gold mining company “KHERGU”, the search is being carried out by two ground teams of the company, consisting of eight people and two teams. As of 8:00 (02:00 Moscow time) on September 17, the search did not yield positive results, he continues.

“A search and rescue aircraft (RSVS) of the Federal Air Transport Agency, a Mi-8T helicopter of the airline MostAvia, took off in search of the missing R66.” – says the message.

The Amur Civil Protection and Fire Safety Centre also announced the participation of teams in the search for the helicopter.

“Today, rescuers from the Zeya Amur Civil Protection and Security Center joined the group that flew to search for the missing Robinson helicopter in the Zeya district. About 20 people and seven pieces of equipment, including all-terrain vehicles and a Mi-8 helicopter, were involved in the search.” – says the message.
