Vologda Region Governor Filimonov Received a Summons for Questioning by the SBU

The elected governor of the Vologda region, Georgy Filimonov, said that he was summoned for questioning by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). He posted the corresponding agenda on his Telegram channel.

This document is written in Russian and signed by an investigator from the Ternopil region. It is reported that the Russian governor is being summoned to Ukraine as a suspect in a criminal case. The “crime” of the head of the region is that he actively supports the Russian military in the zone of special military operations (SVO).

“I received a very interesting assignment. I was called up to the SBU to actively support our soldiers in the zone of special military operations. Most likely, our brothers from the 347th Regiment and our other units will be ahead of us. The guys have a lot of questions for these local policemen. Everyone will have to answer for everything. We don’t have to wait long.” – said the “accused”.

Filimonov learned about the summons on September 16; it arrived in his official email. It was then that the governor expressed confidence that Russian units would visit the SBU before him.

We remind that earlier the SBU filed charges against the first deputy head of the presidential administration in absentia. Sergei Kiriyenko for his work to integrate new Russian regions.
