Fighters from the Lebanese Hezbollah movement attacked five Israeli military bases in the Haifa area, including air force and naval bases, the movement’s press service said in a statement on Saturday.
“Islamic resistance fighters fired a series of rockets at Israeli army bases in Haifa and Carmel. The following objects were attacked: the Haifa logistics base, owned by the Air Force, the Haifa naval base, the Stella Maris naval base west of Haifa, the Tair Carmel logistics base and, for the first time, the Nisher base, located 40 kilometers from the border with Lebanon, was attacked east of Haifa.” – written in the statement.
According to the Shiite movement, there are gas storage facilities at the Nisher base that are used in the interests of the Israeli army.
