Yemen’s Houthis carried out drone strikes against a target in the southern Israeli city of Eilat. This was announced on Saturday, November 16, by the Houthi military spokesman, Yahya Saria.
“The Air Force…conducted a military operation against a critical Israeli enemy target in the (Eilat) area of southern occupied Palestine using drones,” – said Saria in an appeal published on her page in X.
He said the operation had successfully achieved “its objectives.” However, the Houthi spokesman did not specify when exactly the attack took place.
November 13, Pentagon Press Secretary Patrick Ryder reported that Yemen’s Houthis from the Ansar Allah movement fired unmanned aerial vehicles, anti-ship ballistic missiles and cruise missiles at two US guided missile destroyers in the Red Sea. He clarified that the destroyers USS Spruance and USS Stockdale were attacked, Izvestia recalls.
