He traveled from Barcelona to Madrid to “play online games” with two minors he was transporting in his car through the Madrid neighborhood of La Latina. After committing a prohibited maneuver while driving, the municipal police arrested him. Today, the 25-year-old is detained, not because of bad driving practices, but because of his history of child pornography, an order that prohibits him from leaving the country, as well as the special material that the officers found in the car.
The police intervention took place this Monday early in the afternoon when agents from the Central Security Station observed how a vehicle that was circulating in the area of Puerta del Ángel was committing a prohibited maneuver, so they stopped it. When checking the driver’s information, the municipal agents verified that multiple convictions for child pornography and the ban on leaving the national territory.
The now detained man and two minors were traveling in the car. When searching the vehicle, officers found chains, a bulletproof vest from the Mossos d’Esquadra, another simulated vest with a patch with the word “Polizei”, an expandable defense classified as a prohibited weapon and two stolen license plateslists the Police in a press release.
Additionally, in the trunk of the vehicle they also found a health technician jacket and two backpacks containing a large quantity of drugs (mainly sedatives and anesthetics such as fentanyl), an oxygen bottle without the corresponding sealseveral sealed syringes and a tablet.
According to the investigation, the driver had contacted the minors through an online game and had traveled from Barcelona to Madrid to meet them without really knowing what his intentions were. Today and for all this, he is detained as an alleged perpetrator of a crime of unconsummated sexual assaulta crime of prohibited weapon and a crime against heritage.
