The Federal Network Organization of Germany – the supervisory authority responsible for supervision of complaints on the online platforms in Germany in accordance with the EU Law on Digital Services (DSA) – has received much more complaints than the relevant EU bodies, and possible violations.
In his annual report published last week, the agency said that he received about 842 complaints About possible DSA violations, which are the EU level rules aimed at combating illegal content and illegal products on the Internet.
From them he sent about 87 complaints about regulatory authorities in other countries, because their headquarters of the EU is registered in other places.

It is difficult to transmit complaints
Spain CNMC stated in its annual report that he was not provided with “all powers” in accordance with regulation, but “he began to fulfill important duties, both at the national and international levels.”
Most Spanish complaints were about the largest online platforms: seven were already sent to coordinators in other countries, such as Ireland, Sweden and Belgium, the regulatory organ says.
The Dutch consumer and market administration (ACM) stated in July that it is difficult to transfer complaints of DSA violations to its colleagues to other EU countries.

Procedures
The German supervisory authority stated in his report that last year he began four administrative procedures against platforms and that he “actively participated” in the procedures of the European Commission against AliExpress, Temu, Tiktok and X.
The commission controls the compliance with the largest online platforms for DSA: those who have more than 45 million users on average per month. These include, for example, Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, X and Tiktok.
The EU executive body has launched various studies of possible DSA disorders on ten online platforms: AliExpress, Pornhub, Facebook, Instagram, XNXX, StripChat, Tiktok, X, Temu, XVIDEOS. None of these polls has yet been completed.
DSA began to apply for all online platforms in February 2024.
