Government extends state of alert until Thursday

Portugal is reliving the nightmare of fires these days. Fires cause various traffic restrictionsFor this reason, the Civil Protection has advised against travelling to the affected areas, especially in the district of Aveiro. In addition, several trains have had to be suspended in the affected areas.

For this wave of fires, Four people have been arrested since Saturday and so far suspected of having caused these forest fires, according to the Portuguese media Publico.
