– Despite all this, some countries politicized this summit, where the most worrying issues in the world were discussed. Here France and Armenia stood out. How do you rate it?
– First of all, it was necessary to participate in this event. Because we are all part of this planet. In our common home, each of us has opinions to say about this situation and policies to implement. In this sense, it was necessary to participate in COP29 in Baku.
– Relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are an example for the whole world, including this issue. Our countries have a common opinion on most issues. In this regard, it is worth mentioning the peace talks between Azerbaijan and Armenia. To achieve a peace agreement, Azerbaijan demanded that this country change its constitution and remove from the document the articles that contain territorial claims on our countries. Türkiye also supports Azerbaijan on this issue. But Armenia did not respond positively to Azerbaijan’s proposal to take another step towards peace and did not participate in COP29. In this case, how do you evaluate the peace talks now and in the future?
– Relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye are an example for the whole world. We have proven that we are one nation and two states in all aspects, both in our victories and in our bad times. However, we closely follow the results and the restoration and construction works in the occupied territories after their liberation. We are proud to see the work being done in these areas to even achieve the transition to green energy. From this point of view, we stand with Azerbaijan in all measures taken for peace, in all crises facing the world. In this sense, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also mentioned the crimes in Gaza at the leaders’ summit. Because we are talking about a more just world for future generations. In this sense, I believe that Azerbaijan and Türkiye are important powers in regional and international affairs. God bless you forever.
