THE Provincial Police recently stopped at Sarriguren to a man of 31 years oldof Dominican nationality, for the eighth time, accused of drug trafficking crime. After being brought to court, he entered prison.
The investigation began in Junewhen various information received by the local police indicated that two local bars and a house were selling narcotic substances. Neighbors had reported an increase in inconvenience and insecurity due to fighting and the movement of people at unusual hours in the area popularly known as “las ramblas” of Sarriguren.
Surveillance devices were put in place, confirming that the inmate was selling papers both on the bar terrace and inside. On several occasions, the trafficker was accompanied by his youngest son to hide the “chickens” in his diaper.
With the evidence collected, the Aoiz court authorization to enter and search his home, located near the place where the detainee carried out his illicit activities. During the search, they seized 400 grams of cocaine, 505 grams of hashish, 112 grams of ketamine, 83 grams of drug and various doses of pink cocaine or “tusi”.
It is important to highlight the risk that the discovery of this medicine entails, since it is composed of a mixture of substances with unpredictable effects and high risk for the consumer, due to the lack of knowledge of its contents, which may include a cocktail of MDMA, ketamine, methamphetamine and other substances, which recently caused the death of a famous singer.
Likewise, they found 10,800 euros allegedly derived from drug trafficking, as well as tools and materials necessary for the production and distribution of narcotic substances, such as precision balances and thread to close the sachets containing the doses.
The detainee, who has seven criminal records for various offenses and several complaints of drug possession and consumption, was brought to court in Aoiz, where his imprisonment was ordered. The province’s provincial police assisted in the investigation.
