How Hezbollah terrorists’ pagers blew up

An hour after a massive attack on radio pagers across Lebanon left thousands of Hezbollah fighters injured when their devices exploded, the country is in chaos and panic. Hundreds of wounded have filled hospitals and the death toll is expected to be known in the coming hours.

Meanwhile, The Wall Street Journal has provided new details about this dramatic operation. According to the publication, instead of the initial assumptions about explosives embedded in radio devices, the explosions were caused by malware that caused the devices to overheat and explode.

In Lebanon, it is believed that the supplier who sold these devices to Hezbollah may be behind the operation. A Lebanese military analyst suggested in an interview that the supplier could also have been an internet service provider, allowing it to control the devices remotely.

Earlier, Kursor wrote that the terrorist organization Hezbollah made its first official statement after a series of pager explosions. The terrorists also called for a quick recovery of the victims and warned against spreading rumors that could “play into the enemy’s hands.”

Kursor has already reported that the mass liquidation of Hezbollah terrorists by means of a cyber attack has already become one of the main topics of the news. According to various sources, the operation, which used the explosion of pagers, caused hundreds of deaths and injuries among Hezbollah members.

Syrian sources reported that one of the pagers detonated in a car on the Damascus highway, between the Al-Mawasa tunnel and Kafarsous Square.
