The key moment of the BRICS summit in Kazan was the meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was stated by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during negotiations with the deputy head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Andrei Rudenko, TASS reports.
“The most important thing is that during this summit the third meeting between the leaders of our countries since the beginning of this year took place.” – said the head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
Wang Yi stressed the great importance of the heads of the two states reaching new cooperation agreements in Kazan and stressed the great importance of their implementation.
“This is our common task” – he added.
The head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry noted that the Kazan summit made it possible to “maintain the group’s development dynamics on an upward line, contribute to the unification and strengthening of the power of the global South.”

According to Sergei Rudenko during the conversation, Russian-Chinese interaction is at its highest stage of development.
