A magnitude 6.0 earthquake was recorded near the Amami Islands in Japan’s Kagoshima Prefecture.
Oku.Az reports that the National Meteorological Administration of Japan has published information in this regard.
It should be noted that the epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 10 km.
There are no reports of casualties or damage.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was 6.2. No tsunami threat has been declared.
